Back when DC let Tim Drake out of the closet in a Batman: Urban Legends storyline, there was a short scene where Kon and Tim talk. Kon says he's worried about Tim, and Steph is too, and Tim's only response is "You talk to Steph?". Which led me to this piece of Steph and Kon trash-talking Tim, which is where Tim's head probably went at that point.
